Classward Healthcare Education

about.

For the past few years, I have partnered with the medical education company Classward to create animated learning content for students preparing for the NREMT. I developed custom vector illustrations that allow the visuals to be clear, consistent, and easy to follow. From anatomy and patient assessment to EMT procedures, I use medically informed animation techniques to break down complex concepts into simple, digestible steps.

CPR Sudden Cardiac Arrest

challenge.

Medical concepts are intricate. They happen in three-dimensional, real-world environments with many moving parts. But on screen, you only get a flat space and a few seconds to make your point. The challenge lies in distilling all that complexity into an image or sequence that instantly communicates meaning. It’s like translating a language. I take procedures, anatomy, and clinical reasoning, and re-express them through clean illustration, pacing, and motion cues so students can see and learn the logic behind the steps, not just memorize them.

EMT Prep Mechanism of Breathing
Infant CPR and Breath Delivery

result.

These videos are built with education in mind, focusing on clarity, pacing, and visual storytelling to support different types of learners. To date, the animations and videos in this series have helped more than 200,000 students successfully prepare for and pass the NREMT exam, and it continues to grow as a trusted study resource.
