CISCO LIVE! EVENT ANIMATIONS
about.
For Cisco Live 2025 in San Diego, I helped craft motion graphics for two segments featuring Jeetu Patel, Cisco’s President and Chief Product Officer. The visuals supported his talk on how Cisco is shaping internet security in the age of AI through its new Hybrid Mesh Firewall.

challenges.
One of the biggest challenges in this project was striking the right balance between clarity and visual interest. Cisco’s message about AI‑era cybersecurity and the Hybrid Mesh Firewall involved complex concepts that needed to feel accessible, not overwhelming. The temptation with motion design is often to grab attention through big, flashy visuals, but in this case, that would have worked against the story.
The real craft was in creating motion that felt invisible but essential. Using transitions, pacing, and visual cues that subtly highlighted key ideas while keeping the focus on the narration. Getting that balance right required restraint, tight collaboration with the creative team, and a strong sense of how people absorb technical stories in just a few seconds on screen.

result.
My approach was all about clarity and rhythm. Building smooth, purposeful motion that guided the audience through complex ideas without stealing the spotlight. The animations complemented the story and voiceover rather than competing with them. It was a great example of how thoughtful motion design can make technical storytelling both accessible and engaging.
